Mark Pennington
Mark credits his passion for country music and the power of his voice to his dad, Herb Pennington. It takes more than genes to develop a true hard livin' voice. It needs to be created and fueled by hard liven' life & hard liquor. A childhood of poverty induced relocations forced the young singer/songwriter out on his own as soon as he saw an opportunity. Like all inspired artists, Mark played at night& worked a day job to make ends meet. Mark spent many years on the road & when finally taking the plunge to play music full-time, he took the ethic & perseverance of a hard day's work along with him. It wasn't long before he was sharing the stage with legends like David Allan Coe, Mark Chestnutt & modern stars such as Clay Walker, Lee Brice,& Blackberry Smoke. His Single "Hey Girl" stayed st the #2 spot on Reverbnation in Nashville for 6 weeks riding along Trace Adkins the whole way. Struggling to keep a band together that recognized the lack of soul & authenticity in modern country, Mark decided to return to his river roots of classic outlaw country music as a solo artist. That was up until the infamous corner bar reunion with Jason. This was the start of the Outlaw Uprising.

Shawn Stewart
Before moving to Columbus Ohio Shawn was from the small town of Jackson Ohio in the southern part of the state. He started playing guitar at a young age when he met a group of good old boys that played blue grass. The bluegrass eventually translated into country music.
Starting last year he and some other musicians put together a modern county band called 23 Southbound. Since then they have been playing venues all over the Central Ohio area.
